Fully validated by COSCA, it provides a comprehensive introduction to effective supervision practice and offers a pathway toward becoming a qualified Counselling Supervisor.

The course is delivered in two stages:
Certificate in Counselling Supervision Skills:
Provides an in-depth understanding of supervision and how to use it effectively. This certificate can be taken on its own or as the first step toward the Counselling Supervision Certificate.Certificate in Counselling Supervision:
Builds on the first stage and involves supervised practice. Participants must supervise at least two Counsellors or counselling skills users and submit a case study based on their supervisory work.

Certificate in Counselling Supervision Skills:
Participants must hold the COSCA Counselling Skills Certificate (or equivalent).Certificate in Counselling Supervision:
Participants must hold a Counselling Diploma (or equivalent) and have at least two years’ experience as a counselling practitioner, including a minimum of 150 hours supervised client work. They must also be in a position to supervise within their own organisation (or have other arrangements in place).

This course takes place on Saturdays and Sundays over three weekends.
