Launching Our New Men’s Health & Wellbeing Service on International Men’s Day
International Men’s Day is a moment to celebrate the positive contributions men make to our communities - but it’s also a time to recognise the unique challenges they face. One of the most pressing is men’s mental health. Research shows that 40% of men have never spoken to anyone about their mental health, even though more than 75% have experienced anxiety, depression or stress.
Today, we are proud to take a meaningful step toward changing that. A New Service Built with Men and for Men. We are excited to announce the launch of our Men’s Health & Wellbeing Service, funded by The National Lottery Community Fund Fairer Life Chances Fund. This service has been created specifically to support men who have experienced trauma and addiction, offering a safe, welcoming and stigma-free space where they can connect, reflect, and rebuild.
Our goal is simple: to ensure no man feels he has to struggle alone.
1–2–1 Support
Our person-centred one-to-one sessions focus on what matters most to you. Support Workers will work with you to identify your goals, understand your experiences, and create a pathway that strengthens your wellbeing and confidence.
Group Activities
Shaped by the men who attend, our group sessions offer a mix of activities that support connection, routine and personal growth. These may include:
Cooking sessions
Yoga and gentle movement
Discussions around health, wellbeing and resilience
Creative workshops
Peer-led conversations
All groups are facilitated by our experienced team, ensuring sessions feel supportive, inclusive and empowering.
Trauma-Informed, Highly Skilled Staff
Our Support Workers are warm, understanding, and fully trained in trauma-informed approaches. They bring compassion, experience and a genuine passion for supporting men’s wellbeing.
Let’s Change the Story Together. Too many men feel they have to stay silent. This service exists to ensure they don’t have to. Whether you’re seeking support, exploring your options, or just want a space to talk, we’re here.
